Inventory Management Optimization: ➢ Utilize SAP's inventory management module to optimize inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability to meet construction needs. ➢ Implement advanced inventory control strategies such as cycle counting, and just-in-time inventory management to improve Stock accuracy. ➢ Ensure all postings are carried out in SAP and reconcile completed jobs/wells. ➢ Work closely with the procurement team to track the status of material orders and coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers. ❖ Quality Control and Compliance: ➢ Ensure the quality control processes of the incoming materials, so that they meet quality standards and specifications. ➢ Conducting regular inspections, audits, and quality assurance checks throughout the stock to prevent defects, delays, and non-compliance issues. ➢ Utilize material management procedure document quality inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions. ➢ Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to material handling, storage, and quality control. ❖ Training and Mentorship: ➢ Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to material controllers and other team members on SAP usage, best practices, and standard operating procedures. ➢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in Material Management across departments and business units. ❖ Continuous Improvement and Innovation: ➢ Identify opportunities for process improvement within material management processes to increase efficiency and enhance productivity. ➢ Collaborate with focal points to implement enhancements, customizations, and integrations to support inventory needs
