Jobs Description • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (master’s degree preferred). • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, project design, and site execution. • Proven experience in leading engineering development for industrial or infrastructure projects. • Strong knowledge of international engineering standards and codes. • Proficient in project management methodologies and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS, MS Project). • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment. Preferred Skills: • PMP certification or equivalent project management training is an advantage. • Experience working in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Heavy Industrial sectors. • Familiarity with EPC project lifecycles and contractor management. • Lead the development and technical review of mechanical engineering projects. • Review project designs submitted by GES (General Engineering Services) contractors and alliance partners for compliance with technical standards and project requirements. • Ensure adherence to international engineering specifications, industry codes, and applicable standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO). • Interpret and evaluate engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, specifications, and technical documentation. • Utilize engineering software and tools relevant to project planning, design, and execution. • Provide technical leadership and oversight of mechanical engineering services for development and execution phases of projects. • Resolve site-specific design challenges and ensure the implementation of technically sound solutions. • Manage and control the engineering phase of site projects within the defined scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards. • Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. • Monitor project progress and initiate corrective actions to meet engineering deliverables and objectives.
