Jobs Description Experience : Minimum 5 years in Oil and Gas Civil construction works (Oman experience preferred) Qualification : Diploma in Civil Engineering Job Description : Permit Authority. Act as the focal point for the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system on site. Review permits for various work activities, including hot work, confined space entry, working at height, electrical isolation, excavation, and lifting operations etc. Ensure that risk assessments and job safety analyses (JSAs) are properly conducted and documented. Conduct site visits to verify compliance with safety procedures and permit conditions. Coordinate with relevant departments, including operations, maintenance, and HSE teams, to ensure safe execution of jobs. Maintain accurate records of all permits issued and closed. Suspend or cancel permits if unsafe conditions are identified or if work deviates from the approved plan. Participate in audits, safety meetings, and incident investigations as required. Provide training and guidance on PTW processes to staff and contractors.
