Job Summary:

The QA/QC Officer will ensure that all food preparation, cooking, and serving processes meet industry standards and client specifications. This role involves conducting regular quality inspections, implementing quality management systems, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The QA/QC Officer will also be responsible for training staff on quality protocols and enhancing overall service quality. Key Responsibilities: 1. Quality Management: - Develop and implement quality assurance and control policies and procedures for all catering operations. - Monitor compliance with food safety standards and regulations (e.g., Host Nation Municipality and local law standards, HACCP, ISO, etc.). - Conduct regular inspections and audits of food preparation areas, equipment, and storage facilities. 2. Training and Development: - Train kitchen and service staff on food quality standards and hygiene practices. - Provide ongoing education about the quality management system and improvement practices. 3. Inspection and Testing: - Perform routine sampling and analysis of food products to ensure compliance with quality standards. - Record and maintain documentation of inspections, tests, and quality control measures. 4. Problem-Solving: - Investigate and resolve quality-related issues and customer complaints promptly. - Collaborate with management to develop corrective action plans for any quality deficiencies.

- Prepare and present reports on quality inspections, findings, and recommendations to management.
- Analyze trends in quality levels and recommend improvements.
- Prepare close-out report along with a preventive action plan
6. Coordination:
- Work closely with the culinary production team to ensure the highest quality of food preparation and
presentation.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met for all raw materials.
7. Documentation:
- Ensure that all quality control documents are up-to-date and accessible.
- Maintain records of quality audits, training, and compliance checks.
8. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Food Safety and Quality Management Systems (e.g., HACCP-L3 above, ISO 22000)
preferred.
- Minimum of 5years experience in quality assurance or quality control in the industrial catering or food
service industry.
9. Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
10. Working Conditions:
- May require working in various environments, including kitchens and mess hall facilities.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

8 hrs a day. 6 days a week. 1 day off

Salary :
